What To Expect
Expositional
We hold fast to the conviction that the Word of God is the sole rule of faith and life. Our church is devoted to the meticulous and methodical exposition of the scriptures, thereby permitting the Divine Word to instruct and edify the soul and provide a guide for life.
Confessional
"This little volume is not issued as an authoritative rule, or code of faith, whereby you are to be fettered, but as an assistance to you in controversy, a confirmation in faith, and a means of edification in righteousness. Here the younger members of our church will have a body of divinity in small compass, and by means of Scriptural proofs, will be ready to give an account for the hope that is in them. Be not ashamed of your faith; remember it is the ancient gospel of martyrs, confessors, reformers and saints. Above all, it is ‘the truth of God’, against which the gates of Hell cannot prevail.”
- Charles Spurgeon
Missional
In accordance with the great commission, we are fervent in the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our ministry extends from the individual to the collective, endeavoring to extend the reach of salvation's promise to all mankind.
Age Intergrated
Age-integrated worship unites all ages—children, youth, and adults—in a covenantal service under Christ’s sovereign lordship, reflecting the church as God’s covenant family. Rooted in Scripture’s call to train all generations (Deut. 6:6-7), it centers on psalmody, prayer, and expository preaching. Distinct from age-segregated models, it fosters edification and covenantal unity, aligning with Reformed Baptist theology.
Regulative Principle
The regulative principle restricts worship to elements expressly commanded or permitted by Scripture, under Christ’s sovereign authority, affirming the church as God’s covenant community. Grounded in the sufficiency of Scripture (1689 Confession, Chapter 1), it prescribes psalmody, hymns, prayer, and expository preaching, excluding unscriptural practices. Distinct from permissive approaches, it upholds doctrinal purity and covenantal integrity in alignment with Reformed Baptist theology.
